4 May 2011
Your Class Officers and Reunion Committee have planned a class breakfast on Saturday, June 11th, from 9:00a-11:00a in a private room at Williams' Restaurant on William Penn Highway. What will be different from our previous breakfasts is that we will order from the menu, thus you can order as much or as little as you want.
Please RSVP to Sandy Allem Butch with the number attending by June 5th.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

22 October 2009 - Passing of Carlton Berger
It is with sadness we note the passing of Carlton L. Berger, our teacher and later principal of WHS, in October of 2009. I had the pleasure of running into Mr. Berger a couple of times at Lafayette College over the past year or so. We enjoyed swapping a few stories about "the good old days." My favorite is this one from Scott Glaus and Gary Laubach.

3 June 2009 - Passing of Louis Cardell
We note with sadness the death of Louis Cardell. Mr. Cardell was not only our math teacher but a great friend and role model for us. Our yearbook was dedicated to him.
31 May 2009 - Passing of Cheryl Eastman
It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our classmate Cheryl Eastman. Cheryl truly represented the spirit of our class throughout our high school years. Although Cheryl suffered from Parkinson's Disease for a number of years, her great joy was the arrival of her first grandchild, Shayla Shive in 2008. Cheryl will be missed by the class of '65.

Among the faces we haven't seen for a while was Don Aber who flew his private jet in from Boise, Idaho just for the breakfast. Don said if it wasn't for the recent drop in the price of aviation fuel, he would have had to stay home.
We were also delighted to see Barbara Cann, who other than a change of clothes, looks the same as she did in 1965. If you really want to see what Barbara (and some others) looked like MANY years ago, click here.
We had a great discussion about future reunions and get-togethers. One thought was to move the reunion to better weather, perhaps June, since so few actually return to the area for Thanksgiving.
Another thought was to have a pre-reunion get together before the actual reunion. Jay volunteered his house in Stewartsville, NJ. Elaine Zackey said something about "too many flushes" and somebody said something about a porta-potty, but I really wasn't paying attention at that point.
Anyway, Jay will organize another breakfast, probably again at the Palace Restaurant, for sometime in March 2009.
Meanwhile, forward any reunion suggestions to any of the officers.
Our former Spanish teacher and tennis coach Joseph "Jose" Villiano Sr. passed away on March 28, 2008. He is remembered as a caring and affectionate teacher and mentor.
